User Experience Design Project
2017 Update: This is an older project that I still enjoy remembering and thus it has been pulled out of the archives. Many of the iPad/tablet design guidelines we take for granted now had not been established in 2012. My design aesthetics have evolved over the years but this still remains a favorite project.

The Challenge
Take the existing bare bones application and convert it into a full featured property search application that is consistent with the tools available on the company website.
My Role
1. Research:
○ User feedback and feature requests
○ Competitive analysis (Redfin, Trulia and others)
○ Translating iPad usability best practices (Key resource: Nielsen Norman Group)
2. Design:
○ White board sessions
○ Wirefames
○ High fidelity prototype (You will note the now outdated design aesthetics)
○ Test and iterate

This project was for John L. Scott Real Estate: the released application can be found here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/john-l.-scott-real-estate/id467003288?mt=8

When last checked there have been 80,000 iOs downloads (iPad + iPhone app).
